I am feared, I am hated,
I am chief among those who are degraded.
Black Man.
I am persecuted I am jeered,
I am he who strives upon unseen tears.

I am mocked I am blamed, 
It is my Name upon which you continue to impart shame.

Yes, my body has been beaten as well as broken, but yet still, I continue to stand!
